Job Description:

The job covers the entire process of managing and directing a Sales & Marketing force to achieve sales and profit goals. As a self-starter designs and recommends online sales programs and sets short & long terms sales strategies Creative and strategic thinker with a strong customer orientation. And having high level of attention to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.

Skills 

Sales & Distribution knowledge preferably with Pet Industry, E - Commerce Industry, FMCG industry exposure & basic understanding of Digital Marketing.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Directs an e commerce sale and overall sales of the Company force to achieve sales and profit goals

• Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence

• Presents sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team

• Managing and executing promotional campaigns.

• Providing analysis and reporting on metrics such as weekly / monthly sales by department, new product sell-through and offer code performance

• Designs and recommends online sales programs and sets short- and long-term online/offline sales strategies.

• Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs

• Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status

• Coordinate and achieve sales objectives for assigned Target audience by brand and pack on a daily basis. • Recruiting, Managing and Developing Team & Keeping them motivated by providing guidance & monitoring performance.

• Drive Relationship with customers through the team of Market growth representative and Account Developers to ensure sustained business.

• Providing insights on customer shopping trends to support assortment selection and identify assortment gaps

• Ensuring good customer service by addressing and ensuring the timely resolution of customer issues or comments

• Working closely with demand planning and warehousing teams in order to ensure smooth order fulfillment

Responsibilities:

• Have a decent understanding of how an ecommerce & online transactions work

• Manage merchandising and product changes on website

• Collate and monitor key metrics on traffic, engagement & sales

• Managing product inventory, maintaining inward & outward etc.

• Compiling daily sales data as per payment gateway and platform backend

• Identify & manage web platform related aspects with designer and developer

• Reconciliation of logistics, delivery & payments processed

• Coordinating with digital marketing and social media agencies as required

• Catalogue and listing uploading of the products on e-commerce website

• Ensure Customer Invoicing is being processed seamlessly

• Return Policy Management

• Handling all customer queries on the website

• Coordinate with logistics partner and manage delivery SLA’s (service-level agreement i.e., level of service expected by a customer from a supplier) and returns

Operational:

• Highly ambitious and high hunger for success; Strong motivation; Ability to prioritize and multi- task; Ability to quickly identify and provide resolution on issues.

• Continuous travel within the designated area at 80% Travel in a month

People Development:

• Carry out on job trainings with sales executives to improve sales target achieving skills.

• To motivate the team to deliver more than their belief.

Customer Services:

• Communicating with customers regarding product quality enrichment and new product development.

• Boosting new product sales by addressing customer need and issues through continues rapport building.

• Evaluate and monitor customer complaints & review the feedback of all concern and take corrective steps.

Leadership Educational Qualification:

MBA (Marketing / Sales) or Equivalent in Sales Management

Experience:

• 20 + Years of Successful previous experience in sales management to consistently meet or exceed targets 10 experience in related area as an individual contributor and 2 to 5 years supervisory exp reqd.

• Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close

• Strong business sense and E-Commerce, Pet Industry, FMCG industry expertise

• Prior experience in a similar role. Experience within digital marketing is a plus.

• Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
